Other Ways To Get Involved

There is more than one way to make an impact

Looking for additional ways to boost land conservation?

Make an in-kind gift

The Southeast Alaska Land Trust gratefully accepts gifts of goods or in-kind services. Please contact us at (907) 586-3100 or info@sealt.org if you would like to support us with an in-kind gift.

Become a Land Steward

Land Stewards are volunteers who “adopt” a conservation property. They help monitor for any changes we might need to know about, help pick up trash, and generally act as a SEALT ambassador. You can read more about the Southeast Alaska Land Stewards at this link. If you are interested in the Land Steward program, please contact Stewardship Coordinator, Dan Hysell, at (907) 586-3100, or dan@sealt.org

Volunteer

Volunteers are critical to the work of the Southeast Alaska Land Trust, and allow us to devote a major portion of our funds to land conservation, keeping our effectiveness high and our costs low. Our present success has largely been founded upon the generous gifts of time and energy from community members. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at (907) 586-3100 or info@sealt.org for more information.

Join our Board

We are always looking for people with the energy and expertise to make a difference in our organization. If you have specific skills to share, have a passion for an issue or a program, or wish to contribute a fresh perspective, then consider becoming a director. If you are interested in joining our Board, please contact us at (907) 586-3100 or info@sealt.org.

Become a Community Advisor

Community Advisors work with the Board of Directors and staff to help promote our mission throughout Southeast Alaska. We appoint individuals who value natural areas, who have a deep connection and commitment to Southeast Alaska and their community, and who bring skills and experience to the Southeast Alaska Land Trust to help us accomplish our conservation mission. For more information on the Southeast Alaska Land Trust Community Advisors, please contact us at (907) 586-3100 or info@sealt.org.

Thank you for your interest and support of land conservation in Southeast Alaska!
