Community Advisors

Who are Community Advisors?

Community Advisors are residents of Southeast Alaska who value natural areas, and who have a deep connection and commitment to the region and to their community. Southeast Alaska Land Trust Community Advisors bring diverse experiences and perspectives to the table, and are leaders and advocates for conservation of important areas within Southeast Alaska.

What do Community Advisors do?

The Southeast Alaska Land Trust Board of Directors and staff work with our Community Advisors to promote the mission of the organization throughout the region.

⸙ Serve as a liaison for the Southeast Alaska Land Trust within their communities

⸙ Help to increase the profile of the Southeast Alaska Land Trust within the region

⸙ Suggest opportunities to link the Southeast Alaska Land Trust with landowners interested in land conservation

⸙ Participate in Board and/or Lands Committee meetings when a project located within their community is on the meeting agenda

⸙ Help to identify opportunities to link our organization with potential new supporters within the region
