Who are our members?
The Evergreen Society is a dedicated and growing group of major supporters for the Southeast Alaska Land Trust. Evergreen Society members give us the resources and stability we need to plan ahead, help care for conserved lands, and get ready for the next important land preservation project, year after year. This group of inspiring members believes that our region – the land and the people – is at its best when we have wide-open spaces, pristine wildlife habitat, inspiring views, and world-class outdoor recreation.
Evergreen Society members commit $1,000 or more in operating support per year for three or more consecutive years or make a single, annual commitment of $5,000 or greater. Not only do they provide financial support, but they are our most passionate champions, visionary advisors, and friends.
⸙ What impact do Evergreen Society members make?
Every Evergreen Society donation is unrestricted, as the purpose is to support operations so that the Southeast Alaska Land Trust has the resources to acquire and preserve land with other restricted funding. Funds received from the Evergreen Society also have the potential to provide beneficial match funding for grants, increasing the impact of every dollar donated. It is crucial to our work to have stable operations and the capacity to act when opportunities arise.

Evergreen Society members receive special recognition in our newsletters and web publications and receive additional benefits of membership, including guided property visits.
