Clean Up In Lemon Creek
The SEALT Fall Clean-Up is happening this week! We look forward to seeing you there as we partner with Alaskan Brewing Co. to restore the Lemon Creek area — expect tons of wildlife-borne litter from the dump.
Event Details & Logistics
When: Saturday, October 25th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (can’t come for the whole thing? That’s ok!)
Where: SEALT Conservation Sites along Vanderbilt Creek
Meeting Point: In front of the SEALT Headquarters (5150 Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK 99801) at 10:00 AM.
Parking: Please use the Western Auto lot directly across the street.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive after 10:00 AM, please head directly into the Vanderbilt woods along the trail to find our group.
What to Bring
Dress in waterproof layers and wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear.
Bring your reusable water bottle and your own work gloves, if you have them.
We will provide trash bags, high-visibility vests, grabber tools, bug spray, and bear spray. Friends and family are welcome to join us!
While an RSVP isn't required, please send a quick reply if you plan on attending. It helps us ensure we have enough supplies for everyone.

Join us to say farewell to our old offices at 119 Seward St, Juneau, AK, 99801, for December’s First Friday Gallery Walk Event. We’re partnering with local artists who went out on conserved lands and created original paintings for the show.

Community Clean up with Litter Free
Join your friends and neighbors to clean up our community!
Start at a designated bag site, pick up a bag, and spend a couple hours tackling the trash and rubbish in our shared lands.
Join SEALT at the Western Auto Parking lot to clean up the Vanderbilt Creek conservation site.
eBIRD TRAINING for BIRDERS, WATERFOWLERS + Outdoor ENTHUSIASTS: PART I
Do you love birds? Maybe you’re a waterfowl hunter, or photographer? Maybe you just love walking the wetlands observing birds and wildlife! Join us for an engaging session on Friday, April 18th from 6-8 PM at Devil's Club Brewing Co. to learn about eBird, a fantastic citizen science tool that allows you to document bird sightings, deepen your understanding of local wildlife, and contribute to local, regional, and international conservation.
Discover how to use eBird to:
· Track bird migrations and hotspots.
· Contribute to scientific research and conservation.
· Enhance your birding and outdoor experiences.
Whether you're a seasoned birder, a waterfowler, or just someone who loves the natural world, this is for you!
eBIRD TRAINING for BIRDERS, WATERFOWLERS + Outdoor ENTHUSIASTS: PART II — Field TRip
Join us on early Saturday morning at the parking area for the Airport Dike Trail (EVAR) to put eBird into action. We’ll meet at 8:00 AM and have a 15 min briefing, then gear up to depart at 8:30 in small groups in search of birds.
Field trip leaders and volunteers will provide scopes, tripods, and binoculars, but if you have your own, please bring them along!
You will need to bring your own boots such as Xtratufs, water, and clothing/hat/sunglasses appropriate for the weather. If you have questions about footwear or clothing for this outing, please email bailey@sealt.org
