Southeast
Alaska Land Trust would like to announce the addition of two new
board members to our governing body.
In January the Board of Directors
elected Sally
Ryan, an environmental engineer with the Alaska
Department of Environmental Conservation. Previously, Sally was
involved with the land trust as an administrative volunteer, and
wasted no time in accepting the nomination of secretary as a first
order.
During the following month of February, Frank
Rue was appointed to the Board. Frank has a long
history of involvement with land use issues, most recently as Commissioner
of Fish and Game during the Knowles administration. Currently he
is retired from the state and working as a private consultant.
Southeast Alaska Land Trust would like to extend
a warm welcome to both of these individuals. We are excited by their
involvement and look forward to their knowledgeable contributions
and fresh perspective.
