Jensen-Olsen Arboretum - Juneau, Alaska

The Jensen easement lies in the Green Zone directly off glacier highway 24 miles northwest of downtown Juneau, and sits adjacent both to public land managed as reserves and other private land. The easement ensures 13.9 acres of historic coastal frontage and upland forest will remain and be managed for biological diversity. In addition, the property contains an expansive garden and arboretum to be managed and used for public education. The landowner prepared the easement in conjunction with a gift to the City and Borough of Juneau in the form of a remainder interest.
